D1STRICT is a virtual land marketplace. Plots are digital records inside our database, representing a position on a virtual map, not real-world property or any financial instrument. Owning a plot does not grant any real-world land, securities, or currency.
You need an account to buy, sell, or customize plots. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (typically 18) to make a purchase.
Plots are sold at the price shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; D1STRICT never sees or stores your full card details. A purchase is final once payment succeeds and the plot is transferred to your account, except as described in our Refund Policy.
You may list a plot you own for resale at a price you choose (minimum $5). When it sells, D1STRICT takes a 10% fee from the sale price. Stripe's own payment processing fee is also deducted from your payout, on top of D1STRICT's fee. You receive the remainder via the payout account you connect through Stripe. Listings can be canceled at any time before a buyer purchases them.
To receive payouts from a resale, you'll need to connect a payout account through Stripe. You can list a plot for sale before doing this, but the sale can't complete until your payout account is connected.
Our full refund terms are here: Refund Policy. In short: purchases are digital and generally final, but if a payment succeeds and the plot cannot be delivered to you for any reason, you'll be refunded automatically.

We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms.
You keep ownership of any photo you upload to a plot. By uploading it, you give D1STRICT permission to display it within the app as part of that plot's listing. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use what you upload.
Plot prices are set by us or by other users listing resales. D1STRICT makes no promise that a plot will hold, gain, or be resellable for any particular value. Nothing in the app is investment advice.
We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the service at any time. We'll try to give notice of major changes where reasonably possible.
D1STRICT is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
